The Crusader women’s soccer program moves to Brown Field, a ProGrass surface, full-time for its home matches during the 2013 season.

Since the installation of ProGrass at Brown Field, which also serves as the home field for Valpo football and men’s soccer, prior to the 2008 season, the Crusader women have used the facility for a few matches each year.  The facility features full lighting, a spacious press box and a 37-foot high scoreboard in the northeast corner of the stadium, and with it, a new video board for graphics.

Overall, the Valpo women are 8-4-3 at Brown Field, including a 4-0-2 mark last season in 2012.  The Crusaders played on Brown Field in their first-round Horizon League Championship victory over Green Bay in 2009.

Eastgate Field, a natural grass surface located just east of campus, had served as the Crusaders’ home pitch since the program’s inception in 1993 and had hosted multiple conference tournament games.
