The Crusader women’s soccer program is in its second season utilizing Brown Field, a ProGrass surface, full-time for its home matches.

Since the installation of ProGrass at Brown Field, which also serves as the home field for Valpo football and men’s soccer, prior to the 2008 season, the Crusader women used the facility for a few matches each year before making it their full-time home in 2013.  The facility features full lighting, a spacious press box and a 37-foot high scoreboard in the northeast corner of the stadium, and with it, a new video board for graphics.

Overall, the Valpo women are 15-5-5 at Brown Field, including a 7-1-2 mark last season in 2013.  The Crusaders played on Brown Field in their first-round Horizon League Championship victory over Green Bay in 2009.

Eastgate Field, a natural grass surface located just east of campus, had served as the Crusaders’ home pitch since the program’s inception in 1993 and had hosted multiple conference tournament games.
