Adam Rykse enters his second season as a graduate assistant for the Valparaiso volleyball program in 2014.  Rykse helped guide the Crusaders to 25 wins in his first year in 2013 as Valpo finished in second place in the league standings and earned a spot in the Horizon League title match.

Rykse comes to Valpo from Muskegon C.C., where he served as an assistant coach in 2012 after spending the 2011 season as a hitting instructor.  Rykse had previously assisted with video and photo work for statistics at Muskegon.  He also served as the school’s sports information director for the 2012-2013 school year.
