Andy Webb joined the Valparaiso men’s golf program as a volunteer assistant for the 2013-14 season after concluding a four-year playing career with the Crusaders.
Webb was one of the members of the initial class of freshmen for the revival of the Crusader men’s golf program in 2009-10, a class whose careers culminated last year with the Horizon League Championship and a berth in the NCAA Tournament. He played in 35 events for Valpo over his four-year career, posting his best season average (77.3) as a senior.
Webb shot Valpo’s low individual round for the 2012-13 season, carding a 68 in the final round at the Bradley Invitational in a second-place finish. He also came up big for the Crusaders at last season’s Horizon League Championship, carding three birdies on the front nine in the final round en route to a 73 to help Valpo claim the league title by four strokes.
