Valparaiso University appears on national television multiple times per season, and also benefits from the Horizon League Network, a league-wide initiative that provides for free live video streams of every conference game, as well as all of the Crusaders’ nonleague home games, via the Internet.

In 2012-13, the team will make at least eight appearances across ESPN platforms during the 2013 Horizon League schedule and could be featured up to nine times.

Valpo Gameday coverage provides real-time updates and chat opportunities for fans of all teams. Visit valpoathletics.com/mbasketball/gameday to check it out. Games are also available on the Valpo Sports Radio Network.

A special game coverage highlight came in February 2011, when Valpo hosted a BracketBuster game against Missouri State. Legendary ESPN broadcaster Dick Vitale called the game as the Crusaders won 80-67 before a packed house at the Athletics-Recreation Center and a national audience on ESPN2.

Every year, the 1998 game-winning 3-pointer by Bryce Drew, current Crusaders head coach, is shown during March Madness highlights – an iconic image of the tournament. Today, the current Crusaders are looking to make new highlights.
